Japanese Quince

Japanese Quince (Chaenomeles speciosa) in a semi-cascade clump style.  This cultivar is known as 'Texas Scarlet', and it flowers profusely in spring and sporadically throughout the rest of the year. A number of suckers have been left which can be trained into additional trunks.

This bonsai was created from nursery stock approximately 5 years ago, and is somewhere in the range of 8-10 years old.  It was last repotted in spring 2020, and the seller recommends repotting in 2022.

The sale includes the beautiful handmade and signed pot (unsure who the artist is).  Please note that the curent pot has a small chip on back foot (not visible from the front).
